On a first date? Go here! I showed up before my date. It was the first time meeting with him and I informed Joe my server of that. Joe told me that if I was uncomfortable at all just to give him a signal and he would make sure I was safe. How wonderful is that? The service was amazing and the food delicious. I will definitely consider Cedar Creek Grille for my future first dates! Thank you Joe!

I was grieving my father. The staff was very friendly and patient. I had the New York strip. Had not eaten all day. People who I counted on giving space could not. The staff here were professional and upbeat. Careful in a way that showed diplomacy. I was not a mess or crying. But the waiter who served me I could tell caught a vibe an adjusted very well. I was impressed. Have not given the tip yet but he will get a good one. A manager once told me the bar staff would go up a level. He was not wrong. Well done.

Recently dined at CCG for family dinner and had a wonderful time. We started our meal off with appetizers: Short Rib Potstickers, The Big Cali Sushi Roll and Hevenky Biscuits. The Potstickers were definitely the star. The broth was absolutely delicious and the short rib meat was very tender. For our main meal we selected: The Grilles Classic Cheeseburger, Braised Short Rib, PRIME New York Strip Steak and Idaho Rainbow Trout. Our meals were all deliver hot, were full of flavor and well prepared. I personally had the Rainbow Trout and the lobster beurre blanc was devine. For desert we enjoyed a Hot Fudge Sunday and their NEW Apple Crisp. I added some candied pecans to my crisp and it was so delicious. We dined on a Friday evening and the restaurant was very busy. I do wish our server was a little more attentive however overall the food was great and we really had a lovely evening!!

I am so glad the District Manager of Cedar Creek Grille reached out to me personally that says a lot about his character. He was very pleasant and wanted to hear about my experience, we had a very nice conversation and I feel my issues were heard and resolved. That is good management he cares about the patron and his business.

Really enjoyed the restaurant. It is good to see a restaurant that still gives you water and bread before the meal. I had the filet with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were good but the broccoli was amazing! In fact I think it was the best broccoli I have ever had. There was some butter or seasoning on it that just makes one say why haven't I had it like this before. The food was great. We went on a Tuesday when wine bottles were half off. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is definitely worth a visit.

We had a great experience here for a Friday night dinner for two. The ambiance manages a balance between lively and cozy, it can still feel intimate at your table even while the restaurant is crowded. The food was amazing, everything we had was delicious, but the porkchop was especially good. Though the brussel sprouts were a little under done. The best part of the evening, however, was our server Sahar. She was friendly and attentive and we never wanted for anything. We'll definitely be back and hopefully we'll end up in her section again!

This review is kind of a two-parter because half of it is for the food half of it is for the service both of them are five stars My wife and I went to cedar Creek for our 26th wedding anniversary and even though we were early for our reservation they seated us immediately. We were approached by our server Jake, now Jake has a bit of a accent I believe it's Russian. His appearance was tidy and he had a ponytail. Jake immediately began to wow us with the kind of table service everybody should experience once in their lifetime Jake served us Waters out of a carafe and we already knew we wanted a bottle of quilt wine. He had intimate knowledge of the fish specials for the night and also some menu favorites he told us about. Well he retrieved the wine we went over our menu and settled on a California roll for starters along with their limited serve biscuits. He made a point to tell us that they are baked every day and cooked with honey butter and there was a big old glob of it on top! He also said that they have a sushi chef come in at 11:00 every morning and make a bunch of sushi rolls for that evening service and explain the process. Kind of neat. While waiting on our appetizers Jake brought us app plates and soy sauce. He came back and refilled our water again. It was nice of him to notice. Both my wife and I wanted the filet mignon which did not have a price but for two of them it was $115. Yes kind of hefty but it was a superior cut of meat cooked perfectly. My wife got the mushroom demigloss and I had it seared both medium. Combined with beans or broccoli and mashed potatoes. Jake cleaned our app plates away and brought steak knives and reset our dining area and kept refilling our wine. He had intimate knowledge of quilt which comes from the caymus vineyards. We've had this bottle 100 times but he explained it is a blend and talked about letting it breathe which we were appreciative of. He hastily delivered our food and it came piping hot. Broccoli is notorious for cooling off very fast and it was perfect. A little charred with some garlic and salt it melted in my mouth. I could have cut the filet with a fork. Again Jake appeared out of nowhere to refill our wine glasses and new all of the courtesies extended to a diner. Don't reach over them. Talk but not too much. Always keep their drinks filled. Jake was perfect. I absolutely destroyed my dinner my wife however only ate half and we had a couple biscuits left Jake brought two to-go boxes and packed it up for us right there at the table which is something you don't see anymore. Although we did not want any dessert Jake did his absolute best to sell it. Our bill was $248 which by no means was cheap but the meal and the service was worth every penny of that. Remember to tip your servers in cash by the way.... I made a point to speak to Jake's manager with Jake present to explain how wonderful our meal was and what a absolute treasure they have in Jake. Every server should aspire to Jake's level of service. Thank you cedar Creek and Jake for a memorable anniversary.

We both enjoyed the Rainbow Trout with a bottle of Maso Canali Pinot Grigio. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, delicious flat breads. My husband is particular about his coffee and he enjoyed his decaf espresso. Well done! * Thanks for letting us know we left a wallet!

Tonight was our first experience at Cedar Creek Grill! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the ambiance is incredible. This may be one of my favorite restaurants in Cleveland in terms of interior design. Also, Cedar Creek Grill may have my favorite French Onion Soup I've had in the area! Here is what my family of 4 ordered: Soup: French onion soup - amazing! Probably my favorite one I've had in NE OH. Lobster bisque - my husband ordered this and really enjoyed it. However, they topped it with what appeared to be carrots and celery and that was a bit odd. Appetizers: Heavenly biscuits - not quite heavenly status but still very good Deviled Eggs - the deviled eggs were a miss for all of us. They tasted strange and they had too much of some type of herb in them. We will definitely stick with our homemade deviled eggs. However, the candied bacon that came with them was an absolute star! My suggestion would be to maybe do a hanging candied bacon appetizer. Calamari - it has some sort of a sauce on it and was just ok. Mussels - my stepson absolutely loves mussels and ate all of them. Entrees: My husband got two different types of sushi and they were mediocre at best. I got the rainbow trout. This is my first time trying trout and it was enjoyable. It was kind of muted in terms of flavor. The mashed potatoes and green beans that came with it were very good. My older stepson got the salmon and loved his meal! My younger stepson got the steak frites and ate all of his steak and said that the fries that came with the steak were a 9 out of 10. As you can see, there were a few misses, but overall it was a very good experience and we will be back. Our waiter highly encouraged trying the carrot cake and we will definitely be doing that next time! Also, the table beside us got their burgers and they looked really good too!
